Chapter 1. Terms of Hotel Reservation

Article 1. Making Hotel Booking
1.

 Service Contents

Internet online hotel booking system by Travelnote, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “system”) is the system to make reservations of accommodation facilities by the mean we designate.

2.

 Use of System

The system is available to use for any personnel with the internet access.
Accommodation service provided by the system has a limitation. Thus, users shall not demand extra service or discount which are not included in provided service.
Direct booking vacancy information displayed on the system is to be correct as the vacant rooms are under the control of our system. However, request booking vacancy information may not match the up to date vacancy status of the corresponding facilities as the vacancy information of request booking is arbitrarily-assigned.

3.

 Application and Completion of Contract

Your use of this Web site (system) constitutes your agreement to all stated terms, conditions, and notices.
A contract shall not yet be formed upon sending a booking request form to us.
A contract shall be formed upon us issue/send a voucher following to the payment confirmation; provided, however, in case of direct booking, booking will be confirmed upon sending a booking request, and a contract shall be formed upon the payment.

4.

 Payment

Once your booking request is accepted by our system, payment including tax, service fee and etc. is to be fully made by a credit card settlement or a bank remittance to the designated bank account by us before the designated due date.
Expenses incurred by accommodation facilities such as charges for food or telephone calls are to be separately paid by users.

5.

 Payment by Credit Card

Booking will be fixed without our confirmation, and voucher is available for issuance on a website after a payment by credit card.

6.

 Prices and Fees

Service charges and taxes are included in prices displayed on our system.
Prices displayed on our system are limited only for our system.
Price may differ outside our system.
Prices may vary depending on dates or seasons.

7.

 Change/Cancellation, Penalty Charges

Change or cancellation of bookings made through our system shall be made through our system.
Change or cancellation caused by user’s circumstances after the booking is confirmed is subject to our cancellation policy.
Cancellation fee (penalty charge) is conforms to our cancellation policy.

8.

 No-show

In case of no-show without a notification, your booking is no longer effective and there will be no refund.

9.

 Exchange Rates

Prices displayed on our system may at any time be changed depending on exchange rates. Prices may be changed unannounced according to exchange rate fluctuations.

10.

 Change in Prices

Prices can be changed without an announcement.
Before a booking is confirmed, prices may be changed and additional charges may incur due to reasons such as hotel’s price revision. In such cases, we will contact users to inform the change in price before finalizing a booking.
In a case the price is lowered for reasons such as special promotions after we confirm your booking, difference of original price and lowered price cannot be refunded as the price at the moment of booking is applied. Even you cancel your booking and re-book for a discounted rate, the first price will be applied as the booking is made by the same person.

11.

 Booking by Korean Nationals

Korean nationals must contact us when booking as prices charged to Korean nationals may differ from prices for foreigners.
Otherwise, as the policy differs for each hotel, additional payment may be charged by a hotel.
* Korean passport holders who reside outside Korea are regarded as foreigners.

12.

 Prohibited Activities

Make reservations with false or unreasonable information, or cancelling reservations without notifying an accommodation facility (no-show).
Make reservations for others (third party) without their consent.
Take any action that violate, or may violate, others users or third party’s rights, or inflict, or may inflict damage to others or third party.
Act to unreasonably interfere, or may interfere our system operation and impose damage or disadvantage to us.
Hand over any information of our system to any third party, or use our system for commercial purposes.
Act offensive, or may be offensive to public order and morals or violate any laws.
Other acts we deem improper.
* Booking may be cancelled without any prior notification when we deem your act violating our prohibitions listed above.

13.

 Others

We are not responsible for any damages caused by burglar, fraud, assault, illness, injury or damages or changes in itineraries caused by force majeure, including but not limited to disasters, wars, riots, orders of public offices, entry/exit restrictions, political turmoil, strikes, accidental disasters or epidemic diseases.
We are not responsible for any damages caused by user’s act offensive to public order and morals or violation of laws.
Content of terms of use may be modified without prior notification if needed.
* Though we are not responsible for changes in itineraries or shortened stay caused by schedule change, delay, cancel, reroute of transportations, we will try to assist to re-arrange your itinerary.

Article 2. Cancellation
1.

 Cancellation or change after booking confirmation (after agreement) for your convenience is subject to our cancellation policy.

2.

 Cancellation or change for your convenience is subject to cancellation fee or penalty charges equivalent of cancellation fee shown in the chart shown in cancellation page.

3.

 Cancellation caused by cancel of transportations due to weather issues is basically not subject to cancellation fee. However, bank transfer charge is to be borne by users. In case of transportation cancellation, users are required to immediately report to reservation center before the booked arrival date.

4.

 Users are required to directly contact a hotel to report cancellation when the arrival date is our holiday. Users are also required to contact us to report the cancellation the following business day. Paid amount will be refunded after we receive your report as stated above and confirm flight cancellation by both of us and hotel (certificate of flight cancellation or e-ticket may be required by hotels in order to confirm cancellation). Cancellation fee will be applied for any reason whatsoever if we confirm transportations are operated as per normal. Refund will not be issued if a user report transportation cancellation after the original arrival date except in case the arrival date is our holiday.

5.

 Our cancellation policy will be applied in all case of cancellation due to conditions of airlines such as strikes or technical troubles.

6.

 Cancellation fee may be applied on different standards (e.g. 100% cancellation fee from the booking day) during special seasons such as holiday seasons. Refer to cancellation page for details.

7.

 After one day the arrival date with a user not notifying the cancellation to hotel, booking will no longer have effect. All amount of paid money is regarded as cancellation fee and there will be no refund.

Article 3. Cancellation of Credit Card Transaction
1.

 Payment will be cancelled by us after receiving cancellation request when payment was made through a credit card transaction.

2.

 In case the difference in rate occurs after cancelling or changing booking, we will be responsible to cancel a transaction and re-settle the payment with amended value.
