Global Oakwood Premier hotel opened its COEX Center hotel chain in 2002 at Samseong-dong. Since Seven Luck Casino opened in 2006, the hotel has gained more popularity.
Recently, the accommodation is recognized as the filming site of Korean dramas "Winter Sonata" and "Lovers in Paris". The top floor penthouse appeared in "Lovers in Paris"
